5 Stars Spidey Pinata Saved The Day!
So, we had planned a backyard superhero birthday party for my son’s 4th birthday and invited 15 kids. We planned all kinds of OUTSIDE activities to keep our guests entertained for 3 hours. Then, it rained.
How do you keep 15 kids entertained inside a small house without tearing the place apart? As I frantically searched through Toys R US the day before the party looking for a “not too messy” activity, I found this pinata. It was perfect (and it even matched our superhero theme)!
There is a small hole on the back of the pinata through which you stuff it with toys, candy, etc. Then tape up the little hole and you’re good to go. It holds around 3lb of filling. We stuffed it with maybe 2.5 lbs and it was starting to feel heavy so we didn’t fill it all the way.
This is a pull string pinata, which means that you don’t need to beat it with a stick to get the toys out. There is a loop on the top to hang it from the ceiling, wall, etc. Then each child picks a string. You count to 3 and everyone pulls their string. Only one string opens the secret door that allows all the candy to fall out. The rest are just dummy strings.
This was a HUGE it at our party, no worries about flailing a stick at the walls, and was guaranteed to give each child a “turn”.
As with all pinatas, this is not reusable - but is still well worth the $20 we spent

What a waste of $20.00. The handle immediately pulled out when we brought it home. Then, when the kids took turns pulling the strings, it opened on turn # 2. Most kids hadn’t even gotten to walk near it at that point. $20 for 20 seconds, but hey, I will give it to the makers - that is a great business model.
